What to Wear
First off check the weather, As we all know Indiana weather can drastically change day by day especially in Fall, so dress accordingly so that you are comfortable.
Coordinate colors try not to be too matchy. Avoid overly busy patterns. Try to go with muted tones as the bright fall colors will pop.
In Fall the ground tends to be softer, be sure to wear cute but comfortable shoes, if your outfit is calling for heels, wear a pair of slip on sneakers to walk around in until we are ready then pop those heels on as needed for photos.
Most important, wear what makes you feel good. If you walk out of your house feeling confident in what you're wearing it radiates through the photos. Also remember photos last more than a lifetime, I want you to have timeless photos that will look great no matter how long ago it was taken, so in the future looking back you can say wow look how great I (we) looked, not oh man what was I (we) thinking.
What to Expect
Expect to have a little fun. Some of the best photos come from the moments in between "poses" I say "poses" because I try to let the moments come naturally I might direct you to stand/sit/look a certain way but ask you to do so naturally if it doesn't feel natural just let me know we will try something else. I do not come to a session with strict set of poses in mind. I like to feel you out see what comes natural and go from there. Do you have something you'd like to try? lets try it, I am open to most ideas.
Except cold weather. They don't call it sweater weather for no reason.
Why Choose Fall
There is something so nostalgic about the session of Fall. I'm not sure if its the beauty of the leaves changing colors or if its the chill in the air or all the fun fall activities.
Fall is one of the most beautiful times of the year. Why not put yourself in all that beauty.
The weather is cooler! you don't have to worry about sweating or being uncomfortable that's always a plus.
Who doesn't want beautiful fall photos in their home just in time for the holidays!
